WELCOME NEW MEMBERS: We warmly welcome Joshua and Rachel Beil who recently joined the shul as Full Members. We look forward to their active participation and a warm and mutually supportive relationship.

YOM HASHOAH COMMEMORATION: The Ahavas Achim Shoah Committee presents our annual Yom Hashoah commemoration this Shabbat, April 22, between Mincha and Maariv in the Main Sanctuary. We will hear the story of Mrs. Helena Roth, a Holocaust survivor. All adults and children 10 and over are encouraged to attend as we bear witness to the destruction wrought upon our people during World War II.

RUACH KABBALAT SHABBAT: Please join us for the return of a Ruach-filled Kabbalat Shabbat with uplifting niggunim in the Beit Midrash on Shabbat Mevarchim, this Friday, April 21. All are welcome. Looking forward to seeing all of you promptly at 7:00 p.m. (Please note the time change.)

AHAVAS ACHIM CELEBRATES YOM HAATZMAUT: Please join your Ahavas Achim friends and family at a special Yom Haatzmaut Seudah Shlishit next Shabbat afternoon, April 29, between Mincha and Maariv. We will celebrate the 69th anniversary of Medinat Yisrael with divrei torah, Israeli food, and song. We are proud to honor Rabbi Eric and Jeanne Lankin in recognition of their upcoming aliyah and lifetime passion for Eretz Yisrael.

BOOK SWAP: The Sisterhood of Ahavas Achim invites you to a Book Swap. Join us on Tuesday, May 9 at 8:00 p.m. at the home of Elena Orgel, 19 Brookfall Road, Edison. Pick a great book and tell the group why they should choose yours and give it a try. Bring as many books as you'd like. Swap each book that you bring for another book from someone else.
